What is the Daily Joust?
The Daily Joust is Crossword Kingdom’s daily crossword challenge. Find it on your dashboard, start the puzzle, and work through its Across and Down clues. The dashboard also shows your activity, streaks, and XP, so your next visit has a familiar starting point.

A theme gives the clues a connection
Themed crosswords connect a set of clues around a subject. Keep that subject in mind as you solve: an answer that seems ambiguous on its own can become clearer alongside the theme and the letters supplied by crossing words. You still need to check that every answer fits both its clue and its space.
Build a routine that fits your day
Begin with a clue you recognize, fill that answer, then follow its crossing letters into neighboring words. If you get stuck, move to another clue and return with more information. Completing puzzles earns XP and contributes to your progress through achievements and kingdom ranks.

Daily challenge or a different puzzle?
Use the Daily Joust when you want a daily starting point. Browse the app’s themed puzzles when you would rather choose a topic or a different board size. A compact mini and a larger crossword give you different amounts of grid to explore; neither requires you to solve every clue in order.
